Eat Fresh!

Hey Anthony, I have a question on your asparagus

Patty D: How do you prepare it? Bobby tried to make me some fresh. not such a hit.

Anthony: It’s easy but you have to do it exactly this way.  I pick asparagus that is no thicker then a pencil.  You will a ziploc freezer bag, a cookie sheet layered with aluminum foil. Ingredients are Kosher salt, fresh ground black pepper, olive oil and minced garlic.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
Cut the bottom white part of the asparagus off and place them in the ziploc bag.  Drizzle olive oil over the cut asparagus that is in the bag.  Add salt, pepper and a little garlic.  Seal the bag and gently squish the asparagus around so the oil and garlic mixture is thoroughly on the asparagus.

Lay the oiled, seasoned asparagus on the cookie sheet in a single layer.  Here is the important part.  Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  cook for 4 minutes exactly.  No more, no less.  It’s perfect every time.

Patty D: awesome.. thank you. i will let him know. it looked really good on the pic
